Yes!  Create Academy is open to all students in grade K-8 based on the coming school year.  Students must be age 5 by September 1st in order to attend.

We do our best to accommodate requests for campers to be grouped together, however it may not be possible if campers are in different grade levels.

Camps are grouped by the campers grade for the following school year.  The grade range is listed in the camp description.  The typical grade groups include, K, Grades 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 6-8 however the grade range may change depending on camp topic.

Students who will be in Kindergarten during the 2023-2024 school year are eligible to attend camp.  Students must be age 5 by September 1.

Yes, before-and-after care is included in the price of the camp.

Before care hours: 7 am-8:30 am
After-care hours: 3:30 pm-6:00 pm

Late Fee: $20 (minimum charge) for late pickup after 6 p.m. plus an additional $2/min after 6:10 p.m.

Yes, you will be given the option to be added to the waitlist if the camp is full.  You will receive an automatic email if a spot becomes available.  You will have 48 hours to register your child in the camp before an email will be sent to the next camper on the list.

To register your child in the camp, go to My Reservations and find the waitlisted camp.   A ‘register’ button will be available to the right. This will take you to the held spot.

Note:  If you try to register by adding a new reservation from the main page, the camp will appear to be full. You must register through the waitlisted camp.

Camps are week-long, day camps with hours from 8:30 am-3:30 pm and extended care provided between the hours of 7 am and 6 pm.

Eight weeks of camps are offered in June and July, with no camp available during the week of the 4th of July.

Create Academy is held on the campus of Pacific Northern Academy at 2511 Sentry Drive in South Anchorage.  It is one block south of the Abbott Fred Meyer.

Drop off and pickup are at the main entrance of PNA. An email will be sent out prior to the start of your first camp with detailed instructions.

$430 per camp, $344 for 4 day camps.

A non-refundable fee of $60 is required at the time of registration in order to secure your child’s spot at camp.

Additional fees may be applied to certain camps to cover the cost of additional supplies/materials/transportation, etc. Any additional fees will be noted in the camp description.

No.  Several payment options are available to parents.  The $60 non-refundable registration fee must be paid in full at the time of registration in order to secure your child’s spot at camp.  Camps must be paid in full two weeks before the start of the camp.

Campers may transfer to another camp, provided there is space available. Parents are responsible for any additional fees associated with the camp.

Refund Policy Due to PNA Cancellation:
If Create Academy cancels a week of camp, we will refund all fees associated with that week. The $60 annual registration fee is nonrefundable and covers all Create Academy programming throughout the year (summer camp, school vacation camps, and after-school enrichment activities.)

Updated Parent Cancellation Policy:
If Create Academy receives a cancellation request at least two weeks before the start of the registered camp, all camp tuition will be refunded, minus the $60 yearly registration fee. There are no refunds within two weeks of camp. However, campers may be transferred to another week at the camp director’s discretion if space is available.

Refunds will not be given if a child cannot attend camp due to illness including COVID-19.
